Female hockey players have been making significant strides towards equal representation and recognition in recent years. One of the biggest milestones for female athletes in the CSSHL is signing their National Letters of Intent to play at the collegiate level. A National Letter of Intent is a binding agreement between a prospective student-athlete and an institution. This signifies not only the individual athlete’s talent and dedication but also the progress and growth through our program and women’s hockey as a whole. In the last 3 years RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna has moved on 23 girls to play at the collegiate level. For the second year in a row RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna has won the CSSHL Female U18 Prep league championship. Read more below on our Female U18 Prep Student Athletes who are moving onto the next level and words from their Head Coach, Kris Hogg.
