The Female University Showcase is a premier event hosted by RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna, providing female athletes with the opportunity to showcase their skills and abilities in front of university scouts and coaches. The showcase is designed to connect players with post-secondary hockey opportunities while highlighting their talent in a competitive environment.

The 2027 showcase is open to female players and goaltenders born 2009-2012 with aspirations to play at the university level. 2013-born players can be considered by contacting Taylor Bradshaw at taylor@therink.ca. It is ideal for athletes seeking exposure to scouts and looking to take the next step in their hockey careers.

Players can expect on-ice sessions that include competitive scrimmages, skill sessions, and performance evaluations. The event also features off-ice components such as fitness testing, seminars on recruitment processes, and opportunities to interact with university scouts and coaches.

The showcase provides invaluable exposure to university coaches and scouts, allowing players to demonstrate their skills in a structured and competitive setting. It also offers guidance on navigating the recruitment process, giving participants a better understanding of what it takes to succeed at the university level.

Registration is completed online through the Register Now button on this page. The cost is $799.99 plus tax and fees, paid in full or with a $200 deposit and the remainder in two payments starting February 1, 2027.

Registration includes all on-ice sessions and the four game guarantee, an off-ice skill session with RINK Player Development, off-ice evaluation with Testify Performance, all presentations and info sessions, and an RHA Kelowna jersey.

After January 15, 2027, the $200 deposit is non-refundable for any drop-outs. Certain circumstances with proper documentation will be considered. A detailed event schedule will be provided after registration.
