Garrett Festerling

Garrett Festerling is the head coach of the U18 Female Prep team at RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna, where he emphasizes culture, accountability, and elite player development. Over a 15-year professional career in Germany’s DEL, he played more than 700 games and learned the value of consistency, preparation, and competing under pressure. His career includes winning multiple championships—highlighted by a BCHL title, two DEL National Championships, and a CSSHL U18 Female Prep Championship in his first year behind the bench at RHAK. Representing Germany on the international stage also instilled in him a deep appreciation for discipline and pride in performance. Today, Garrett draws on these experiences to challenge his athletes with high standards while supporting their growth as both players and people.
