Elgin Pearce

Assistant Coach | U15

Elgin Pearce is a retired professional hockey player, and a CFES certified personal trainer. He is also currently enrolled in the Doctor of Natural Mecicine program at Quantum University. Elgin's extensive playing career includes the AHL, ECHL, USports and several professional leagues in Europe. His athletic career allowed him to train alongside some of the best trainers and players in the NHL.

Using this experience, he now focuses on helping young athletes maximize their potential through high performance health and wellness training. Working with hockey players looking to excel is something that comes naturally to him. However, his coaching career is relatively new. Two years ago, he assisted RINK coach Josh McEwan with HPL and last year he was the coach coach of the Vernon minor tier 2 U15 team. Both teams had successful seasons and placed top 4 respectively in the province. He still works with or keeps in contact with players from both teams and sees the coaching opportunity as a way to improve and share insight with the next generation of players.
