Josh McEwan
Josh McEwan has spent over a decade coaching and developing young hockey players, working with hundreds of athletes in high-performance programs. He is currently the head coach of the U15 team at RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna. Last season, Josh served as assistant coach of the U18 Prep team which captured the CSSHL Championship.
His background includes coaching U15 Prep and varsity teams, as well as leading skating and skills development at the Pursuit of Excellence Hockey Academy. He also guided the U15 Central Zone team to the 2023 T1 Provincial Championship and led the 2011 HPL Knights to a silver medal at the 2024 Provincials.
As a player, Josh won a championship with the Fernie Ghostriders and competed in the BCHL and AJHL with the Langley Chiefs, Trail Smoke Eaters, and Drumheller Dragons.
Josh believes in developing players from the inside out by fostering a safe, healthy team culture. His approach emphasizes building players mentally and emotionally while equipping them with the skills needed to thrive both in hockey and in life.
